TOURS
LOW TIDE TOUR
Embark on a journey to uncover what some marine biologists refer to as "the ocean's secret" through tide pooling along the San Diego shoreline.
The high tide conceals numerous intertidal pools, but as the waters ebb, they reveal an abundance of marine life typically hidden from view.
Inhabitants of these tide pools include sea anemones, starfish, keyhole limpets, sandcastle worms, sea urchins, barnacles, mussels, snails, crabs, and Pacific octopuses, alongside plant life like eelgrass, sponge weed, various kelps, and red algae.
Join our guides on a tour of the San Diego coast's tide pools for an educational and enjoyable experience, unveiling the concealed aspects of nature.
Tours are $100 for two hours

ABOUT
Relocating from the East Coast in 1990, drawn by the promise of an endless summer of surfing, I’ve called San Diego home.
My passion for the ocean and nature began in my early teens with summers spent seaside and winters hiking with my uncle.
I earned a BA in Anthropology leading to a 20-year career in Archaeology.
This work expanded my love for nature, enriching my understanding and curiosity with insights into Geology, Biology, Paleontology, and Native American life.
In my early thirties, I discovered the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range and I've been hiking and exploring there ever since.
I find spending time in nature essential for health and well-being, whether it's a day hike or camping beside a secluded lake at 11,000 feet.
It would be a pleasure to share the knowledge I’ve gathered. Book a tour today
